CENTRAL EXCISES

G.S.R. 1322.- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub - rule ( 1 ) of rule 8 of the Central Excise Rules , 1944 , the Central Government hereby exempts , with effect from the 30th June , 1967 , unprocessed cotton hose pipes and beltings woven as such , falling under Item No. 19 of the First Schedule of the Central Excises and Salt Act , 1944 ( 1 of 1944 ) , from the whole of the duty of excise leviable thereon .

G.S.R. 1323 -In exercise of the powers conferred by sub - rule ( 1 ) of rule 8 of the Central Excise Rules . 1944 , the Central Government hereby exempts , with effect from the 30th June , 1,37 , hair beltings which fall under Item No. 21 of the First Schedule to the Central Excises and Salt Act , 1944 ( 1 of 1944 ) and in the manufacture of which no rubber is used , from the whole of the duty of excise levlable thereon .
