ORDER
New Delhi, the 2nd September 1987
S.O. 3091/18A/IDRA/67—Whereas the Central Government is of opinion that M/s. Diwan Sugar and General Mills, Private Limited, Sakhoti-Tanda, District Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, an industrial undertaking in respect of which an investiga- tion has been made under section 15 of the Industries (Development & Regulation) Act, 1951 (65 of 1951), is being managed in a manner highly detrimental to the sugar industry and to public interest;
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by clause (b) of sub-section (1) of section 18A of the said Act, the Central Government hereby authorises the body of persons (in this Order referred to as the Board of Management) to take over the management of the said industrial undertaking, namely M/s. Diwan Sugar and General Mills, Private Limited, Sakhoti-Tanda, District Meerut, in so far it relates to the sugar industry;
2. The Board of Managemtmt shall consist of the following, namely:—

3. The Board of Management shall pay from the funds of the said undertaking such sums, as the Central Government may determine from time to time towards the salary, allowances, leave salary and pension contributions of the member secretary and other staff employed from time to time in connection with the management, direction and supervision of the working of the Company including the cost incurred by Government in connection with the inspection and internal audit of the accounts of the Company.
¥. TEe Board of Management shall also pay from the funds of the Company travelling allowance and daily allowance of the members of the Board of Manage- ment.
5. Thia Order shall have effect for a period of two years from the date of its publication in the Official Gazette,
