CENTRAL EXCISES
New Delhi , the 4th September 1967
G.S.R. 1374.- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub - sections ( 2) and ( 3 ) of section 3 of the Central Excises and Salt Act , 1944 ( 1 of 1944 ) , the Central Gov- ernment hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the late Ministry of Finance ( Department of Revenue ) No. 182 / 61 - Central Excises , dated the 1st December , 1961 , namely-
In the said notification , for the words " such internal combustion engines as operate with diesel oil " , the words " such internal combusion engines , other than marine diesel engines , as operate with diesel oil " shall be substituted .
