ORDER
New Delhi , the 8th September 1967
G.S.R. 1381. In exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Essential Commodities Act , 1955 ( 10 of 1955 ) , the Central Government hereby makes the following Order further to amend the Northern Inter - Zonal Rice ( Movement Control ) Order , 1967 , namely:-
1. This Order may be called the Northern Inter - Zonal Rice ( Movement Con- trol ) Amendment Order , 1967 .
2. In the Northern Inter - Zonal Rice ( Movement Control ) Order , 1967 , in the proviso to clause 4 , after item ( vii ) , the following item shall be inserted , namely: ---
" ( viii ) to Pathankot town in Pathankot District from any place in the State of Punjab other than any place in external border area for purpose of sale . "
