CENTRAL EXCISES
New Delhi , the 19th September 1967
G.S.R. 1450 .-- In pursuance of sub - rule ( 2 ) of rule 49 and rule 139 of the Central Excise Rules , 1944 , the Central Government hereby directs that the pro- visions relating to the removal of goods from one warehouse to another shall , extend , subject to the conditions specified in paragraph 2 , to Motor Spirit and Refined Dicsel Oil ( hereinafter referred to as the said goods ) .
2. The said goods shall be permitted to be removed without payment of duty only-
( a) from the storage tanks of Messrs Indian Oil Corporation Limited (Marketing Division ) at their Installation at Siliguri , licensed under rule 140 of the said rules as warehouses , to their storage tanks at the Marketing Installation at Barauns , or to the storage tanks at the refinery at Barauni of Messrs Indian Oil Corporation Limited ( Refineries Division ) , similarly licensed as warehouses ;
(b ) from one storage tank to another storage tank in the refinery or the Marketing Installation at Baraunı
