SUBJECT : -Import Policy for Registered Exporters for the year April 1967-March 1968 - Fish and Fish Products .
No. 133 - ITO ( PN ) /67.-Attention is invited to the Import Policy for Registered Exporters containedin Part ' B' of Section III of the Import Trade Control Policy Look ( Red Book ) for the year April 1967-March 1968 , issued by the Ministry of Commerce Public Notice No. 32 - ITC ( PN ) / 67 dated 1st May , 1967 as amended from time to time .
2. The following amendments may be made at the appropriate places in the Red Book as indicated below : -

" If any registered exporter of fish products , wants to nominate a Freezing Plant Ope- rator for import licence for refrigerants , he may be so ."

For the existing entry in Col. 5 , the following may be substituted , namely :
"This will be allowed to a registered exporter ifhe is himself a Freezing Plant Operator . If any registered exporter of fish products wants to nominate a Freezing Plant Ope- rator for import licence for spare parts of refrigeration machinery , he may do so . "

(ii ) Applications for fixa- tion of quota and for grant of quota licences should be submitted to the licensing authori- ties concerned not later than the 31st October, 1967 and 30th Nov- ember, 1967 respectively.
3. The import policy for Hides and Skins , raw or salted as given in the Import Trade Control Policy ( Red Book) for the period April 1967- March 1968 may be deemed to have been amended accordingly .

IMPORT TRADE CONTROL
New Delhi , the 30th September 1967
Import Trade Control Open General Licence No. LXXXIII
No. 12/67 . In pursuance of the Imports ( Control ) Order , 1955 , the Central Government hereby gives general permission to all persons to import into India from any country in the world except the Union of South Africa / South West Africa , Rhodesia and Portugal , any goods of the description specified in the Schedule below : -
Provided that-
(i) in the case of goods of the description specified in the Schedule below , such goods have not been produced or manufactured in the Union of South Africa/ South West Africa , Rhodesia or Portugal ;
( 11) such goods are shipped on through consignment to India on or before the 31st March , 1968 without any grace period whatsoever ; and
( fii) nothing in this licence shall affect the application to any goods , of any prohibition or regulation affecting the import thereof , in force at the time when such goods are imported .
