G.S.R. 1540.-In exercise of the powers tion 25 of the Customs Act , 1962 ( 52 of satisfied thatit is necessary in the public conferredconferred byby sub - sectionsub- section ( 1 ) of sec- 1962 ) , the Central Government , being interest so to do , hereby exempts the goods specified in column ( 2 ) of the Table annexed hereto, when imported into India, from so much of the additional duty of customs leviable thereon under section 2A of the Indian Tariff Act , 1934 ( 32 of 1934 ) , as is in excess of the rate specified in colmun ( 3 ) of the said Table .
