ORDER
New Delhi , the 9th October 1967
G.S.R. 1543. In exercise of the powers conferred by section 5 of the Essential Commodities Act , 1955 , ( 10 of 1955 ) , the Central Government hereby directs that the powers conferred on it by sub - section ( 4 ) of section 3 of the said Act to authorize any person to exercise , with respect to the whole or any part of a rice mi'l as defined in the Rice - Milling Industry ( Regulation ) Act , 1958 , ( 21 of 1958 ) , engaged in the production and supply of rice within the State of Kerala shall be exercisable also by the Government of Kerala subject to the condition that before making an Order under the said sub - section , the State Government shall obtain the prior concurrence of the Central Government .
