CENTRAL EXCISES
New Delhi , the 13th October 1967
G.S.R. 1544. In exercise of the powers conferred by sub - rule ( 1 ) of rule 8 of the Central Excise Rules , 1944 the Central Government hereby makes the following further amendment to the notification of the Government of India in the Minis- try of Finance Department of Revenue ) No. 26/ 62 - Central Excises, dated the 24th April , 1962 , namely:-
In clause ( i ) of the proviso to the said notification ,-
(1) the word " and " occuring at the end of item ( h ) shall be omitted;
( 2) after the existing item ( h ) , the following item shall be inserted , namely:-
" ( i ) as a dewaxing solvent in the process of purification of feed stock for manufacture of lubricating oils ; and"
