No. 153 - ITC ( PN ) /67.-Attention is invited to the Import Policy for Registered Ex- porters rters contained in Part ' B ' of Section III of the Import Trade Control Policy Book (Red Book) for the year April 1967- March 1968 , Issued under the Ministry of Commerce Public Notice No. 32 - ITC (PN) / 67 , dated May 1 , 1967 , as amended from time to time .

polyester fibre may be allowed to be imported in addition to wool within the overall licence per- missible for 50 % of the f.o.b. value , limited to the extent of actual polyester fibre content plus normal processing wastage . The extent of poly- ester fibre to be allowed to be imported in each case will be determined by the licensing authority taking into account the actual polyester content of the hosiery exported as certified in the pre- shipment inspection certificate issued by the Textile Committee and giving a suitable allowance for normal processing wastage . "
