IMPORT TRADE CONTROL
New Delhi , the 8th November 1967
SUBJECT: Import Policy for Registered Exporters for the period April 1967 March 1968-procedure for making nominations .
No. 162 - ITC ( PN ) / 67 .-- Attention is invited to para 8 of the Import Pozicy for Registered Exporters contained in Part ' B ' , Section III of the Import Trade Control Policy Book (Red Book ) for the year April '67 -March '63 . issued under the Ministry of Commerce Public Notice No. 32- ITC ( PN ) / 67 , dated 1st May , 1967 , as amended from time to time regarding making of nominations within a period of 15 days from the date of export The details of the provisions for making nomination and the procedural formalities to be observed in this behalf are contained in para 106 of the Import Trade Control Hand Book of Rules and Procedure , 1967 , issued under the Ministry of Commerce Public Notice No. 57- ITC ( PN ) /67 , dated 3th July , 1967 .
2. The trade has represented about the difficulties in making nominations within 15 days of the date of export . The matter has been reviewed and in modification of this provision , it has been decided that it will be considered in order if the fact ofof nomination , the particulars of nominee ( s ) the extent of nomination etc are indicated in the registered exporters application for grant of replenishment licence at the time of its submission . For this purpose , the existing application form has been revised and the amended form is enclosed as Annexure to this Public Notice .

3 No application from manufacturer - exporter who wishes to make nomination or from merchant - exporter will be regarded by the Import & Export Control icensing authorities as complete unless full particulars regarding nomination are mdicated in the relevant columns of the application form and part ' C' of the application form is duly completed by the nominee manufacturer and in the event of the nomination being received subsequent to the receipt of the applica- tion , the date of receipt of nomination particulars and / or part " C" form of the application will be regarded as a date of receipt of the application
4. The above decision will apply in respect of exports effected on or after the 1st October 1967 .
