NOTIFICATIONS
New Delhi, the 13th November 1967
G.S.R. 1738.—In pursuance of sub-ruin (1) of rule 8 of the Indian Adminis- trative Service (Recruitment) Rules, 1954, the Central Government, in consulta- tion with the Government of Mysore and the Union Public Service Commission, hereby makes the following Regulations further to amend the Indian Adminis- trative Service (Appointment by Promotion) Regulations, 1955, namely:—
1, (1) These Regulations may be called the Indian Administrative Service (Appointment by Promotion) Sixteenth Amendment Regulations, 1967.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of issue of the notification.
2. In the Schedule to the Indian Administrative Service (Appointment by Promotion) Regulations, 1955, in the entries in column 3 relating to the State of Mysore, after entry (4) the following entry shall be inserted, namely:—
"(5) A nominee of the Government of India not below the rank of a Joint Secretary."
