No. 178-ITC(PN)/67.—Attention la invited to the Import Policy for Registered Exporters contained in Part 'B' of Section III of the Import Trade Control Policy (Red Book) for the year April, 1967—March, 1968 Issued under the Ministry of Commerce Public Notice No. 32-ITC(PN)/67, dated 1st May, 1967, as amended from time to time.

SUBJECT;—Import Policy for Registered Exporters for the year April 1967—March 1968—Calculation of import replenishment against export of Jewellery containing Silver, Platinum or Paladiurn and studed with diamonds etc.
No. J80-ITC(PN)/ 67— Attention Is invited to para 3 of the Ministry of Commerce Public Notice No. 94-ITC(PN)/67, dated the 25th August, 1967 wherein Remark 3, in Column 5 against S. No. 4 at pages 277-278 of Part 'B', Section III of the Import Trade Control Policy Book for the year 1967-68 was added.
2- It has been decided that the above remark may be substituted by the following :—
"Against export of jwellery containing silver, platinum or paladium and studded with diamonds, precious or semi-precious stones, real or cultured pearls or synthetic stones but not containing gold, fob- value for the purpose of import replenishment wilL be only the value of the diamonds/ precious or semi-precious atones/real or cultured pearls/synthetic stones studded in the Jewellery. The value of the metal used in the exported product will not be taken into account,"
3. The above amendment will be applicable in respect of exports effected on or after the date of issue of this Public Notice.
