SUBIFCT : Conversion of actual user licences for raw materials , components , spares and non -ferrous metals for importing steel and vice versa- Amendment to ITC Hand Book of Rules and Procedure , 1967-( Amendment No. 6 ) .
No. 181 - ITC ( PN ) /67.-Attention is invited to Paragraph 85 of the Import Trade Control Hand Book of Rules and Procedure , 1967 as amended by the Ministry of Commerce Public Notice No 57 - ITC ( PN ) / 67 , dated the 3rd July , 1967 , regarding conversion of actual user licences for raw materials components spares and non- ferrous metals for importing steel and vice versa
2. It has been decided to exclude from the scope of the said paragraph 85 . the items whose import is canalised through an agency approved by Government Accordingly , the words " or canalised " may be inserted after the word " banned " in sub - paragraphs (85 ( 1 ) ( i ) ( a ) and 85 ( 1 ) ( i ) ( a ) of the Import Frade Control lland Book of Rules and Procedure , 1967
3. The Import Trade Control Hand Book of Rules and Procedure , 1967 may be deemed to have been amended accordingly
