SUBJECT:—Import Policy for Registered Exporters for the year April 1967—March 1968—•
nomination of manufacturers of metallic yarn against export of Natural Silk
Fabrics, Garments and made up articles.
No. 196-ITC(PN)/67 Attention is invited to the Import Policy for Registered Exporters contained in Part 'B' of Section III of the Import Trade Control Book (Red Book) for the year April 1967—March 1968, issued under the Ministry of Commerce Public Notice No. 32-HC(PN)/67 dated 1st May, 1967 as amended from time to time.
2. It has been decided to delete the entries made in column 5 against items l(a) and 2(a) on pages 272-273 of the Red Book is announced vide Public Notice No. 46-ITC(PN)/67, dated 26th June, 1967 as amended by Public Notice No. 119- ITC(PN}/67, dated 13th September, 1967 and to insert the following new entry under column 5 against items l(a), i(b), 2(a) and 2(b) appearing under the heading 'XIX Natural Silk Fabrics. Garments and made up Articles' on pages 272-273 of the Red Book:—
"NOTE : Registered exporters of these items may, in respect of the exports of the products containing metallic yarn, effected on or after 1st April, 1967. nominate the indigenous manufacturers of metallic yarn for the import at
