NOTIFICATIONS
New Delhi, the 10th December 19G7
S.O. 1871—Whereas a vacancy has occurred in the House of the People by reason of the death of Shri M. K. Shivananjappa elected to that House from Mandya Parlia- inentary Constituency in the State of Mysore;
Now, therefore, in pursuance of the provisions of sub-section (1) of section 149 of the Representation of the People Act, 1951, the Election Commission hereby calls upon the said constituency to elect before (he 27th January, 1968, in accordance with the provisions of the said Act, and of the rules and orders made thereunder, a person to fill the said vacancy.

S.O. 1872.—In pursuance of the provisions of section 30 of the Representation of the People Act, 1951, the Election Commission hereby appoints, with respect to the bye- ciection to be held in the Mandya Parliamentary constituency in the State of Mysore in pursuance of its notification No. "ll)()/MY/HP/1 /67(1), dated the 19th December, 1967.
