NOTIFICATIONS

New Delhi, the 1st January 1968

S.O. 92.—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 6 of the Export (Quality Control and Inspection) Act, 1963 (22 of 1963), and after previous publication as re- quired by sub-rule (2) of rule 11 of the Export (Quality Control and Inspection) Rules, 1964, and after consulting the Export Inspection Council, the Central Government hereby makes the following amendments to the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Commerce S.O. 4393 dated 28th December. 1964. namely:—

In the said notification,—

(i) in clause (3) of paragraph 1, for the word, abbreviations and figures "and IS : 2556—1965", the words, abbreviations and figures "IS : 2566—1965 and IS : 3794— 1966" shall be substituted;

(ii) in clause (ii) of paragraph 3, after sub-clause (d) the following sub-clause shall bo inserted, namely:—

"(e) L-Twill Jute Bags IS : 3794—1966".

2. This notification shall come into force on 1st January, 1968. [No. 60(23 )Exp. Insp/67.] S.O. 93.—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 8 of the Export (Quality Control and Inspection) Act, 1963 (22 of 1963), and after previous publication as required by sub-rale (2) of rule 11 of the Export (Quality Control and Inspection) Rules, 1964, the Central Government hereby recognises the Indian Standards Institution Certifi- cation Mark, namely IS : 3794—1966 in respect of "L-Twill Jute Bags", thereby further ( 1 3) j I THE GAZiiiiE (Ji [NblA liXlKAORljlNAkV [I'ART U-SKC. amending the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Commerce No. S.O. 4394 dated, the 28(h December, 1964, in the manner specified below for the purpose of denoting that where "L-Twill jute bags" arc affixed with such mark, it shall be deemed 10 be in conformity with the standard specifications applicable thereto under clause (c) of section 6 of the said Act.

In the suid notification,— in clause (ii) of the Explanation, after item (d) the following item shall be inserted, namely:—

"(ej L-Twill Jute Bags I S: 3794—1966".

2, This notification shall come into force on 1st January, 1968-
