S.O. 216. Whereas by the Order of the Government of India in the late Ministry of Commerce and Industry No. S.O. 1718 , dated the 11th July , 1960 read with the Order of the Government of India in the late Ministry of Commerce and Industry No. S.O. 1982 dated the 11th July 1963 , and the Order of the Government of India in the late Ministry of Industry and Supply No. S.O. 2216 dated the 10th July 1965 , and Ministry of Industry No. S.O. 2001 dated the 30th June 1966 and Ministry of Industrial Development and Company Affairs ( Department of Industrial Development ) No. S.O. 2297 dated the 10th July 1967 and S.O. 3688 dated the 10th October 1967 , the management of the undertaking known as the India Electric Works Ltd. , Calcutta has been taken over and continued to be managed for the period upto and inclusive of the 10th January , 1968 .
And whereas the Central Government is of the opinion that it is expedient in the public interest that the management of the said undertaking should be continued for a further period of three months ;
Now, therefore , in exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to sub- section ( 2 ) of Section 18A of the Industrics ( Development and Regulation ) Act , 1951 ( 65 of 1951 ) , the Central Government hereby directs that the Order first mentioned above shall continue to have effect for a further period of three months from the 11th January , 1968 .
