New Delhi , the 23rd January 1968
G.S.R. 178.- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub - rule (2 ) of rule 191 -B of the Central Excise Rules , 1944 , the Central Government hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance ( Department of Revenue ) G.S.R. No. 546 ( No. 53 /59- Central Excises ) dated the 9th May , 1959 , namely :-
In the Table annexed to the said notification , in column ( 2 ) against Serial Number 2 , after item ( 18 ) , the following shall be inserted , namely :--
"( 19) Bed covers .".
