8.O. 468. In pursuance of the provisions of section 67 of the Representation of the People Act , 1951 (43 of 1951 ) , the following declaration containing the name of the candidate elected in the constituency referred to therein is published for general information : -
DECLARATION
Bye - Election to the House of the People 13 - Mandya Parliamentary Constituency .
"Inpursuance of section 66 of the Representation of the People Act , 1951 , I declare that Shri S. M. Krishna , B.A. , B.L. , M.C.L. , ( Texas ) Somanahalli , Maddur Taluk, Mandya District , has been duly elected by the Mandya Parliamentary Constituency to fill the vacancy in the House of the People caused by the death of Shri M. K. Shivananjappa .
