New Delhi , the 2nd February 1968
S.O. 477. In exercise of the powers conferred by sub - rule ( 1 ) of rule 5 of the Conduct of Elections Rules , 1961 , the Election Commission hereby directs that in the notification No. 56 / 67 - III ( S.O. 3483 ) , dated the 26th September , 1967, the following amendments shall be made, namely
In the Table , against the item " 3. Bihar " ,-
( i) in column 3 , below the entry " 5. Hut " the entry , " 8. Horse " shall be added;
(11 ) in column 4 , below the entry " Praja Socialist Party " the entry "Janata Party" , shall be added against the entry , "6. Horse " in column 3 ; and (iii) in column 2, the entry " 2. Horse " shall be deleted and the remaining entries 3 to 6 renumbered as 2 to 5 .
