THE CONSTITUTION (APPLICATION TO JAMMU AND KASHMIR) AMENDMENT ORDER, 1968
In exercise of the powers conferred, by clause (1) of article 370 of the Consti- tution, the President, with the concurrence of the Government of the State of Jammu and Kashmir, is pleased to make the following Order:—
rg THE GAZETTE Or INDIA. EXTRAORDINARY [FART II-SEG. 3 (i) ]2. In paragraph 2 of the Constitution (Application to Jammu and Kashmir) Order, 19S4, in sub-paragraph (22) (relating to the Seventh Schedule), lor item (iii) of clause (a), the following item shall be substituted, namely: —
"(iii) in entry 72, the reference to the States shall be construed,—
(a) in relation to appeals to the Supreme Court from any decision or order of the High Court of the State of Jammu and Kashmir made in an election petition whereby an election to cither House of the Lefiis- lature of that State has been called in question, as including a refe- rence to the State of Jammu and Kashmir;
(b) in relation to other matters, as not including a reference to that State.",
