New Delhi, the 6th February 1863
S.O. 577,—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 21 and sub-section (1) of section 22 of the Representation of the People Act, 1951, and in supersession of all the previous notifications issued on this subject, the Election Commission hereby appoints, in respect of each of the parliamentary Constituencies in the Union Territory of Himachal Pradesh as deter- mined by the Delimitation of Parliamentary and Assembly Constituencies Order, 1966, and specified in column 1 of the Table below:
(a) the officer specified in the corresponding entry in column 2 of the said Table to be he Returning Officer; and
(b) the officer of the offices specified in the corresponding entry in column 3 of the said Table to be the Assistant Returning Officer or Officers.
