G.S.R. 321. In exercise of the powers conferred by section 19 of the Rice- Milling Industry ( Regulation ) Act , 1958 ( 21 of 1958 ) , the Central Government hereby directs that the powers exercisable by it under section 5 , and clauses ( c ) and ( d ) of sub - section ( 3 ) of section 8 of the said Act shall , in relation to the rice mills in the State ofof Uttar Pradesh, be exercisable alsoalso by the Regional Food Controllers in that State .
