New Delhi, the 18th February 1968

S.O. 559.—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Delhi Special Police Establishment Act, 1946 (25 of 1946), the Central Government hereby makes the following amendment in the notification of the Government of India In the Ministry of Home Affairs, No. 228/1/6G-AVD-II, dated the 1st March, 1960, namely : --

In the said notification, for the words "which, i]f committed within any Union Territory, are to be investigated by the Delhi Special Police Establishment,", the words "which are to be investigated by the Delhi Special Police Establishment in any Union Territory,"' shall be substi- tuted.

ORDER New Delhi, the 1 th February 1988S.O. 560.—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 5(1) read with section 6 of the Delhi Social. Police Establishment Act 1946 (25 of 1946)and of all other power's enabling it in this behalf, the Central Government, with the consent of the Government of the State of Uttar Pradesh hereby extends the ( 111 )

powers and Jurisdiction of the members of theI#38ii Si>eclal Police Establishment to the whole of the State of Utter Pradesh for the Investigation of th" offence punishably under Section 302 I P .C In retard to the death of Shri Din Dayal Upadhyaya.
