New Delhi , the 24th February 1968
G.S.R. 365. In exercise of the powers conferred by sub -section ( 1 ) of section 25 of the Customs Act , 1962 ( 52 of 1962 ) , the Central Government , being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do , hereby makes the following amendmentin the notification of the Government of India, in the Ministry of Fin- ance ( Department of Revenue and Insurance ) No. 186-Customs , dated the 15th October , 1966 , namely: -
In the said notification , for the figures and the figures and words " 15 per cent ad valorem " words " 271 per cent ad valorem" , shall be substituted.
