8.0. 745. The following Order made by the President is published for general information: -
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 56 of the Government of Union Territories Act, 1963 ( 20 of 1963 ) , the President hereby makes the following Order, namely :-
1. ( 1 ) This Order may be called the Government of Union Territories ( Re- moval of Difficulties ) Order No. 5 .
(2) It shall come into force at once .
2. Until other provision is made in this behalf , at the sitting of the Legislative Assembly of the Union territory of Manipur called for the election of the Speaker of that Assembly , if the office of the Deputy Speaker is vacant and if no member of the panel of Presiding Members duly authorised to preside over the sitting of the Assembly is available , such member of that Assembly as the Administra- tor may appoint for the purpose shall preside .
