S.O. 1002. In pursuance of the provisions of section 67 of the Representation of the People Act , 1951 ( 43 of 1951 ) , the following declaration containing the name of the candidate elected in the constituency referred to therein is published for general information: ---

Bye - election to the House of the People 44- Ghosi Parliamentary Constituency
"In pursuance of the provisions contained in Section 66 of the Representation of the People Act , 1951 , I declare that Sri Jharkhandey of Vill . Amila , Post Amila , District Azamgarh has been duly elected by 44 - Ghosi Parliamentary Constituency to fill the vacancy in the House of the People caused by the death of Sri Jai Bahadur Singh .
