New Delhi , the 29th March 1968
G.S.R. 630.- In pursuance of rule 9 of the Post Office Savings Bank Rules , 1965 , the Central Government hereby notifies that , with effect from the 1st April , 1968 and until further orders , on the balance at credit of an account specified in column ( 1 ) of the table below , interest shall be allowed at the rate specified in the corresponding entries in column ( 2 ) of the said table :
