NOTIFICATIONS
New Delhi, the 29th March 1968
S.O. 1214.—Whereas a vacancy has occurred in the House of the People by reason of the death of Shri Rai Charanjeet Ganpat elected to that House from Dausa parliamentary constituency in the State of Rajasthan;
Now, therefore, in pursuance of the provision of sub-section (1) of section 149 of the Representation of the People Act, 1951 (43 of 1951), the Election Com- mission hereby calls upon the said constituency to elect before the 3rd May, 1968, in accordance with the provisions of the said Act and of the Rules and orders made thereunder, a person to fill the vacancy so caused.

S.O. 1215.—In pursuance of the provision of section 30 of the Representa- tion of the People Act, 1951, (43 of 1951), the Election Commission hereby appoints, with respect to the bye-election to be held in the Dausa parliamentary constituency in the State of Rajasthan in pursuance of its notification No, 100/R.T-HP/1/68(1), dated the 29th March, 1968,—
(a) the 5th April, 1968, as the last date for making nominations; (b) the 6th April, 1968, as the date for the scrutiny of nominations; (c) the 8th April, 1968, as the last date for the withdrawal of candida- tures;
