SUBJECT: Errata No. ( li)-Import Policy for Registered Exporters for the year April 1968- March, 1969.
No. 56 - ITC (PN ) /68.-Attention is invited to the Import Policy for Registered Exporters contained in Volume II of the Import Trade Control Policy Book ( Red Book), for the years April 1968-March , 1969 , issued under the Ministry of Commerce , Public Notice No. 50 - ITC ( PN ) / 8, dated 1-4-68 .

2. The following corrections may be made at the appropriate places , in the Volume II of the Red Book :

SUBJECT . Import policy for the year April 1968- March 1969 - Errata No. 2 .
No. 58 - ITC (PN )/68.-Attention is invited to the Ministry of Commerce Public Notices No. 50- ITC(PN)/68 dated 1-4-1968 and No. 54 - ITC (PN ) / 68 dated 2-4-1968. The following further amendments shall be made in Volume I of the current Red Book at appropriate places :

Insub -paragraph 9 (ii) the following shall be deemed to have been added at the end :-
" In such cases , applications for fixation or establish- ment of quotas will also not be entertained".
4 Section I Para 25 , line 5 After the word ' licence' , the following shall be deemed to have been added :-
"or Rs . 10,000/- whichever is less ."
4 Section I para 25 , line 6 After the word ' licence' , the following sentence shall be deemed to have been added :
"Within the value limits indicated for items appear- ing in Appendix 3 , the import of any single item will not be allowed for more than Rs . 1,000/- in value" .

For the words ' in excess of the value limit of 5 percent indicated above ' read ' in excess of the value limits indicated above' .
