ORDER
New Delhi , the 10th April 1968
S.O. 1338. Whereas by the Order of the Government of India in the late Minis- try of Commerce and Industry No. S.O. 1718 dated the 11th July 1960 read with the Order of the Government of India In the late Ministry of Commerce and Industry No. SO . 1982 dated the 11th July 1963 , and the Order of the Government of India in the late Ministry of Industry and Supply No. SO . 2216 dated the 10th July 1965 , and Ministry of Industry No. S.O. 2001 dated the 30th June , 1966 and Ministry of Industrial Development and Company Affairs ( Department of Indus- tural Development ) No. SO . 2297 dated the 10th July , 1967 and S.O. 3688 dated the 10th October , 1967 and No. SO 216 dated the 10th January , 1968 , the manage- ment of the undertaking known as the India Electric Works Ltd.. Calcutta has been taken over and continued to be managed for the period up to and Inclusive of the 10th April , 1968
And whereas the Central Governmentis of the opinion that it is expedient in the public interest that the management of the said undertaking should be conti- nued for a further period of two months;
Now, therefore . In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to sub - sec- tion ( 2 ) of Section 18A of the Industries ( Development and Regulation ) Act. 1951 (65 of 1951 ) , the Central Government hereby directs that the Order first mentioned above shall continue to have effect for a further period of two months from the 11th April , 1968 .
