NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 15th April 1968
G.S.R. 715.—The following Proclamation by the President is published for general information :—
In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (2) of article 356 of the Consti- tution of India and of all other powers enabling me in that behalf. I. Zakir Husain, President of India, hereby vary the Proclamation in relation to the State of Uttar Pradesh made by me under the said article on the 25th day of February, 1968, in the manner specified herein, namely: —
In the said Proclamation, in clause (c),—
(1) in sub-clause (ii), for the words, figures, brackets and letters
"articles 175, 176 and 177, clause (c) of article 179 and the first proviso thereto article 181, clause (c) of article 183 and the proviso there- to, articles 185, 188, 189, 193, 194 and 196 to 198 (both inclusive) articles 200 and 201,"
the following shall be substituted, namely: —
I 92 THE GAZETTE Off INDIA EXTRAORDINARY [P\KI II-9FC S(i)]article 186 as relates to the sala^ie;, and allowances of the Deputy Speaker of the Legislative Assembly, clause (:;) of article 187 so far as it requires consultation with the Speaker of the Legislative Assembly, articles 188 and 189, articles 193 and 194, so much of article 195 as relaLe.s to the salaries and allowances of Wenbers ol the Legislative Assembly, articles 196 to 198 (both inclusive), clauses (3) and (4) of article 199, articles 200 and 201, so much of clause (3) of article 202 as relates to the salaries and allowances of the Deputy Speaker of the legislative Assembly,"
(2) after sub-clause (ii), the following Hub-c-lause shall be inserted, namely: — "Hi-a) the Legislative Assembly of the said State is hereby dissolved.".
