New Delhi , the 16th September 1968
S.R.O. 14E . dated 16th September , 1968. In exercise of the powers conferred by sub - section ( 1) of section 2 of the Armed Forces ( Emergency Duties ) Act , 1947 ( 15 of 1947) , the Central Government hereby declares every service con- nected with the supply of electricity in the State of West Bengal to be a service of vital importance to the community .
