S.O. 3395. In exercise of the powers conferred by sub- clause ( 1 ) of clause 6 of the Vegetable Oil Products Control Order , 1947 , and in supersession of the noti- fication of the Government of India in the Ministry of Food , Agriculture , Com- munity Development and Cooperation ( Department of Food ) No. S.O. 3138 , dated the 6th September , 1968 , the Vegetable Oil Products Controller for India hereby fixes , with the prior concurrence of the Central Government , the maximum prices

( 2) The price limits specified above are inclusive of freight, but exclusive of sales - tax , octroi , terminal tax and similar other local taxes .
Explanation . In this notification ,-
( i) " retailer " means a dealer who sells not more than 16.5 kilogrammes of vegetable oil product to any one consumer at a time .
( ii ) ' wholesaler " means a dealer who sells vegetable oil product ,-- (a) to a retailer in any quantity , or
(b) to a consumer exceeding 16.5 kilogrammes at a time .
