8.O. 3499. In exercise of the powers conferred by sub - section ( 1 ) of section 5 , read with section 6 of the Delhi Special Police Establishment Act , 1946 ( 25 of 1946) and of all powers enabling it in this behalf , the Central Government , with the consent of the Government of the State of Bihar ,Bihar , hereby extendsextends the powers and jurisdiction of the members of the Delhi Special Police Establishment to the whole of the State of Bihar for the investigation of one or more of the offences specifled in the notification under section 3 of the said Act , [ G.S.R. No. 358 published In Part II , Section 3 ( 1 ) of the Gazette of India on the 12th March , 1966 as amended by S.O. No. 859 publishedin Part II , Section 3 ( 11 ) of the Gazette of India on the 18th February , 1968 ] committed in regard to the death of Shri Bishwanath Singh on 30th July , 1968 at Chapra .
