S.O. 3500.-In exercise of the powers conferred by sub - section ( 7 ) of section 16 of the Gold ( Control ) Act , 1968 ( 45 of 1968 ) , read with sub- section ( 1 ) of that section , and in continuation of the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance ( Department of Revenue and Insurance ) No. S.O. 2885 , dated the 26th August , 1968 , I , Jasjit Singh , Administrator , being satisfied that it is neces- sary so to do , hereby extend the period for the making of declarations by licensed dealers and refiners under the said sub -section ( 7 ) up to and inclusive of the 31st day of October , 1968 .
