S.O. 3503.- Whereas by the Order of the Government of India in the Ministry of Labour , Employment and Rehabilitation ( Department of Labour and Employ- ment ) No. 29 / 38 / 68 - LRIII , dated 3rd October , 1968 an industrial dispute between the boat- owners and contractors operating in the port of Cochin and their work- men has been referred to the Industrial Tribunal , Bombay for adjudication :
And whereas , it is necessary to prohibit the continuance of the strike in exist- ence in the port of Cochin in connection with the sald dispute ;
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub - section ( 3 ) of sec- tion 10 of the Industrial Disputes Act , 1947 ( 14 of 1947 ) , the Central Government hereby prohibits the continuance connection with the said dispute in the said port . continuance of the strike in existence in connect

S.O. 3504. Whereas , the Central Government is of opinion that an industrial dispute exists between the managements of boat- owners and contractors , operating in the port of Cochin , specified in Schedule I hereto annexed and their workmen in respect of the matters specified in Schedule II hereto annexed;
And whereas , the Central Government considers it desirable to refer the said dispute for adjudication;

"Whether the Lighter- crew / Boatmen , employed by 125 boat- owners operat- ing in the port of Cochin and specified in Schedule I are entitled to payment of bonus under the Payment of Bonus Act , 1965 ( 21 of 1963) for the accounting year commencing on any day in the year 1964 and subsequent accounting years 1965 , 1966 and 1967 ? "

And whereas , the Central Government considers it desirable to refer the said dispute for adjudication;
Now, therefore , in exercise of the powers conferred by clause (d) of sub- section ( 1 ) of section 10 of the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947 ( 14 of 1947 ) , the Central Government hereby refers the said dispute for adjudication to the Central Government Industrial Tribunal , Bombay , constituted under section 7A of the said Act .
