S.O. 3799. In pursuance of paragraph 17 of the Election Symbols ( Reservation and Allotment ) Order, 1968 , the Election Commission hereby makes the following amendment in its notification No. 56 / 68 - VIII ( S.O. 2960 ) , dated the 31st August . 1968 , namely :-
In table 3 , against the entry 17. West Bengal , in the column , free symbols ' , for entries " ( 8 ) A pair of pigeons and ( 9 ) Haldhar " , the entries " (8 ) A pair of pigeons . ( 9 ) Haldhar and ( 10 ) Elephant " shall be sub- stituted .
