New Delhi, the 11th November 1968
S.O. 3974.—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 82B of the Indian Railways Act, 1890 (Act IX of 1890), the Central Government hereby appoint Shri Karnail Singh, IAS., as a whole time Claims Commissioner to deal with all the claims arising out of the accident caused by fire involving No. 2 FTD Delhi-Tundla- Farrukhabad Passenger Train on 7th August 1968 between Maripat and Dadri stations on the Ghaziabad-Tundla section of Northern Railway. His headquarters will be at Ghaziabad.
