MINISTRY OF COMMERCE NOTIFICATIONS New Delhi, the 12th November 1968

S.O, 3976.—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 6 of the Export (Quality Control and Inspection) Act, 1963 (22 of 1963), and after previous pub- lication as required by sub-rule (2) of rule 11 of the Export (Quality Control and Inspection) Rules, 1964, the Central Government hereby makes the following amendment to the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Commerce No- S.O. 3978, dated the 2Cth December, 1965, namely-- In the said notification— (1) For paragraph 1, the following proviso shall be added, namely:—

"Provided that nothing in this notification shall apply to the export by land, sea or air of samples of such minerals and ores to prospective buyers";

(2) (1) In the Schedule, after serial No. 9 and the entry relating thereto, the following shall be added, namely:—

"10. Steatite.

11. Feldspar".

[No. 60(48)Exp.Insp./68.] S.O. 3977.—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 7 of the Export (Quality Control and Inspection) Act, 1963, (22 of 1963), the Central Govern- ment hereby makes the following amendment in the notification of the Govern- ment of India in the Ministry of Commerce No. S.O. 3150, dated the 30th Septem- ber, 1965, namely:— In the said notification, in Schedule II, after serial No- 9 and the entry relat- ing thereto, the following shall be added, namely:— "10. S.O. 3978.—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 17 of the Export (Quality Control and Inspection) Act, 1963 (22 of 1963), the Central Govern- ment heieby makes the following rules further to amend the Export of Mirerals and Ores—Group II (Inspection) Rules, 1965, namely:—

1. These rules may be called the Export of Minerals and Ores—Group II (Inspection) Amendment Rules, 1968.

2, In the Export of Minerals and Ores—Group II (Inspection) Rules, 1965— (i) In rule 7, after serial No- 9 and the entries relating thereto, the following shall be' inserted, namely:—

"10.' Steatite.

11. Feldspar.

.. Minimum of Rs. 100/- .. Minimum o£ Rs. 100/-":

(ii) in the Schedule, after serial No. 9 and the entry relating thereto, the following shall be added, namely:-—

"10- Steatite.

11. Feldspar".
