New Delhi , the 25th November 1968
S.O. 4210.-In pursuance of paragraph 17 of the Election Symbols ( Reserva- tion and Allotment ) Order , 1968 , the Election Commission hereby makes the follow- ing amendment in its notification No. 56/ 68 - VIII ( S.O. 2960 ) , dated the 31st August , 1968 , namely :-
In table 3, against the entries , 14. Punjab , 16. Uttar Pradesh , 17. West Bengal and 22, Pondicherry , under column ' free symbols ' , the entry " Horse " shall be substituted by the entry " Horse and Rider " .
