New Delhi , the 16th November 1968
S.O. 4306. Whereas the Government of the State of West Bengal have intimat- ed some printing errors and certain changes in the name and extent of territorial divisions referred to in Part A and B of Schedule XVII of the Delimitation of Parliamentary and Assembly Constituencies Order , 1966 ;
And whereas the E'ection Commission considers it expedient to make amend- ments in the description of the constituencies to bring the order up to date;
Now, therefore , in exercise of the powers conferred by sub - section ( 1 ) of Section 9 of the Representation of he People Act, 1950 , the Election Commission hereby makes the corrections in the said Order as follows: -
I. In part A Parliamentary Constituencies ,
(1) in 6 - Malda, in the extent of the constituency , for " ( 38 ) Kharha, " read " ( 38 ) Kharba , " and
(2) in 17 -Alipore , in the extent of the constituency , for " ( 135 ) Kabithirtha " , read " ( 135 ) Kabitirtha" .
II . In Part B Assembly constituencies ,
(1 ) in 2 - Mathabhanga ( SC ) , in the description of the extent of consti- tuency, for " Sitalkuch p.s. " read " Sitalkuchi p.s. "

(10 ) in 84 - Deganga , in the description of the extent of constituency , for "Kitipur " read " Kirtipur " ;
(11) in 89 - Hasnabad , in the description of the extent of constituency , after the word "Gotra " , a ' comma' shall be inserted ;
(12) in 93 - Haroa , in the description of the extent of constituency , for "Champalia " read " Champali " ;
(13) in 106 - Budge Budge , in the description of the extent of constituency , for "Satgachia" read " Satgachhia";
(14) in 112- Magrahat West , in the description of the extent of constituency, after the word " Nishapur " a ' comma' shall be inserted;
(15 ) in 158- Panchla , in the description of the extent of constituency , for "Gobindpur " read " Gobindapur" ;

( 20 ) in 250 -Ukhra ( SC ) . in the description of the extent of constituency after the words " Faridpur p.s. " the words " In Durgapur Sub -division " shall be inserted;
(21) in 251 -Durgapur , in the description of the extent of constituency, for the words " in Asansol Sub - division " the words " in Durgapur Sub- division " shall be substituted ;
(22 ) in 252 -Faridpur , in the description of the extent of the words " in Asansol Sub - division " the words " in Durgapur Sub- of constituency. for division " shall be substituted ;
(23) in 253 -Ausgram ( SC ) , in the description of the extent of constituency, for the existing entry , the entry " Ausgram p.s. in Sadar Sub - divislon: and J. L. Nos . 24 to 27. 30 , 33 to 35. 66 to 71 and 73 to 84 in Bud Bud p.s. in Durgapur Sub - division" shall be substituted;
( 24) in 255 - Galsi , in the description of the extent of constituency , for the existing entry, the entry " Galsi p.s. ( excluding Satinandi. Sanko , Khano and Bhuri a.p. ) in Sadar Sub - division; and Bud Bud p.s. ( excluding J. LL . III . In the note, for the words and figures " Ist day of December , 1966 " , the words and figures " 1st day of November , 1968 " shall be substituted ; and in the third line , after the words " police station " , a ' comma ' shall be insertea .
