New Delhi , the 5th December 1968
S.O. 4381. Whereas a vacancy has occurred in the House of the People by reason of the death of Shri A. Nesamony , a member elected to that House from Nagercoil Parliamentary Constituency in the State of Madras .
Now , therefore , in pursuance of the provisions of sub - section ( 1 ) of section 149 of the Representation of the People Act ( 43 of 1951 ) , the Election Commission here- by calls upon the said constituency to elect before the 11th January , 1969 , in accor- dance with the provisions of the said Act and of the Rules and Orders made there- under , a person to fill the said vacancy .

S.O. 4382.- In pursuance of the provisions of section 30 of the Representation of the People Act ( 43 of 1951 ) , the Election Commission hereby appoints , with res- pect to the bye -election to be held in the Nagercoil Parliamentary Constituency in the State of Madras in pursuance of its notification No. 100 / MD / HP/ 1 / 68 ( 1 ) , dated the 5th December , 1968 : -
(a) the 12th December , 1968 , as the last date for making nominations;
(b ) the 13th December , 1968 , as the date for the scrutiny of nominations :
(c) the 16th December , 1968 , as the last date for the withdrawal of candida- tures;

(d) the 8th January , 1969 , as the date on which a poll shall, if necessary, be taken; and
(e) the 11th January , 1969 , as the date before which the election shall be completed.

8.O. 4383. In pursuance of section 56 of the Representation of the People Act (43 of 1951 ) the Election Commission hereby fixes bhe hours from 8 A.M. to 5 P.M. as the hours during which a poll shall , if necessary , be taken for the election to the House of the People from Nagercoil Parliamentary constituency , to be held in pursuance of its notification No , 100 / MD / HP / 1 / 68 ( 1 ) , dated the 5th December , 1968.

एस ० ओ ० 4384- यतः मद्रास राज्य में के नागरकोइल संसदीय निर्वाचन-ओल से निर्वाचित लोक सभा के एक सदस्य श्री ए ० नेसामनी की मृत्यु हो जाने के कारण लोक सभा में एक स्थान रिक्त हो गया है ;
अतः , अब , लोक प्रतिनिधित्व अधिनियम , 1951 ( 1951 का 43 ) की धारा 149 की उप- धारा ( 1 ) के उपबन्धों के अनुसरण में निर्वाचन आयोग एतद्वारा उक्त निर्वाचन क्षेत्र से यह अपेक्षा करता है कि वह उक्त रिक्त को भरने के लिए उक्त अधिनियम तथा तदधीन बनाए गए नियमों और ग्रादेशों के उपबन्धों के अनुसार, एक व्यक्ति 11 जनवरी , 1969 से पूर्व निर्वाचित करे ।

एस ० ओ ० 4385- लोक प्रतिनिधित्व अधिनियम 1951 ( 1951 का 43) की धारा 30 के उपबन्धों के अनुसरण में , निर्वाचन आयोग अपनी अधिसूचना सं ० 100 / मद्रास/ लो० स०/ 1/ 69 ( 1 ) दिनांक 5 दिसम्बर , 1968 के अनुसरण में मग्रात राज्य में के नागरकोइल संसदीय निर्वाचन क्षेत्र में होने वाले उप - निर्वाश्चन के बारे में: ---
(क) नामनिर्देशन करने के लिए अन्तिम तारीख 12 दिसम्बर, 1963 ;
(ख) नानिदशनों की संवीक्षा की तारीख 13 दिसम्बर, 1963 ;
( ग ) अभ्यथिता वापस लेने के लिए अन्तिम तारीख , 16 दिसम्बर , 1968 ( घ ) बह तारीख जिसको , यदि आवश्यक हो, तो मतवान होया-8 जनमरी 1969 ; तथा
(ऊ) महतारीख जिस के पूर्व निर्वाचन समाप्त कर दिया जायगा 11 जनबी 1969 ;
एतद्वारा नियत करता है ।

एस ० ओ ० 4386-- लोक प्रतिनिधित्व अधिनियम 1951 ( 1951 का 43) की धारा 56 के अनुसरण में निर्वाचन आयोग अपनी अधिसूचना सं ० 100 / मद्रास/ लो ० स ०/ 1/68 ( 1 ) , दिनांक 5 दिसम्बर , 1969 के अनुसरण में लोक सभा के लिए नागरकोइल संसदीय निर्वाचन क्षेत्र से होने वाले निर्वाचन के लिए 8 बजे पूर्वाह्न से 5 बजे अपराह्न तक का समय उस समय के रूप में एतद्वाप्रा नियत करता है जिसके दौरान मतदान, यदि आवश्यक हो तो , होगा ।
