S.O. 4389.—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-clause (1) of clause 6 of the Vegetable Oil Products Control Order, 1947, and in supersession of the notification of the Government of India In the Ministry of Food, Agriculture. Community Development and Cooperation (Department of Food) No. S.O. 4203 dated the 22nd November, 1960, the Vegetable Oil Products Controller for India hereby fixes, with the prior concurrence of the Central Government, the maximum prices at which vegetable oil products may be sold in the various zones specified below, with effect from the 8th December, 1963, as follows:—
Zone 'A'
Zone 'B'
Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, Mad- ras, Mysore, Laccadive, Minicoy and Amindivi Islands and Pon- Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, Rajasthan, Uttar Pra- desh, Chandigarh, Delhi and Himachal Pradesh.

Explanation.—In this notification,—
oil product to any one consumer at a time,
(i'O "Wholesaler" means a dealer who sells vegetable oil product,—
(a) to a retailer in any quantity, or (6) to a consumer exceeding 16 -5 kilogrammes at a time.
