NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 30th November 1968
S.O. 4388.—Whereas the Government of State of Pondicherry have Intimated some printing mistakes and an Inadvertent slip in the description of the assembly constituencies given in Schedule XXII of the Delimitation of Parliamentary and Assembly Constituencies Order, 1966 :
And whereas the Commission considers it necessary to correct these printing mistakes and the Inadvertent slip in the description of the constituencies to bring the said Order up-to-date:
Now, therefore, In exercise of the powers conferred by, clause (a) of sub-sec- tion (1) of Section 9 of the Representation of the People Act, 1950, the Election Commission hereby makes corrections in the said Order as follows :
(1) in 2-Couroussoucoupom, in the description of the extent of constituency. for "Chauderie Krichenassamypoulle Sattarame Chounamboucalvapet" read "Krichenassamypoulle Sattarame, Chounnamcoucalvapeth,";
(2) in 8-Modeliarpeth, in the description of the extent of constituency for
"Pappanesavady Ottampaleom," read "Pappanesavady, Ottampaleom,";
