NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 28th December 1968
S.O. 4639.—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 45 of the Life Insurance Corporation Act, 1956 (31 of 1956), the Central Government hereby directs that on and with effect from the 31st December, 1968, the assets and liabilities appertaining to the controlled business of the Jupiter General Insurance Company Limited, Bank Street, Bombay-1, shall be transferred to and vested in the Life Insurance Corporation of India.
