G.S.R. 2244._ In exercise of the powers conferred by sub - section ( 1 ) of esction 25 of the Customs Act , 1962 ( 52 of 1962 ) , the Central Government , being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do , hereby makes the following amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Fin- ance ( Department of Revenue and Insurance ) No. 114- Customs , dated the 1st August , 1968, namely :-
In paragraph 2 of the said notification for the figures , letters and word " 31st December , 1968 " , the figures , letters and word " 30th June , 1969 " shall be substituted .
