SUBJECT.—Import Policy fur Registered Exporters for the year April, 1968—March,
No. 33-ITC(PN)/69.—Attention is invited to the Import Policy for Registered Exporters contained in Volume II of the Import Trade Control Policy Book (Red Book) for the year April, 1968—March, 1969 issued under the Ministry of Commerce Public Notice No- 50-ITC(PN)/66. dated 1st April, 1968.
(2) The following amendments may be made at the appropriate places as indicated below.—

Note-—The percentage may be increased upto 100 per cent in special cases on the recommen- dation ot the Textile Commissioner, for exports of shirts, trousers and jeans only. (xv) Peavl headed pins (5 per cent)." After the existing entry at (4), the following may be added :— "(5) Imports of woven Ubels of foreign Import- ers may also be allowed under this group."
SUBJECT;—Flexibility provided in para 85 of the Import Trade Control Hand Book 0/ Rules and Procedure, 19R8.
No. 34-ITC(PN)/69.—Attention is Invited to the provisions contained in parutfraph 85 of Chapter IV of the Import Trade Control Hand Book of Rules and Procedure, 1968, published under the Ministry of Commerce Public Notice No. 57-ITC(PN)/68, dated the 8th April, 1968, as amended.
2- In sub-clause (c) of sub-paragraph 85(1) (i), after the word 'specifications', the following shall be added :-—
"and the Import of items licensable under the import policy in force and subject to production of non-availability certificate from indigenous producers".
'i. The provisions of the Import Trade Control Hand Book of Rules and Procedure, 10fi8 may be deemed to have been amended accordingly.
