NOTIFICATION
New Delhi , the 11th February 1969
G.S.R. 299. In exercise of the powers conferred by sub - section ( 2 ) of section 6 of the Bengal Finance ( Sales Tax ) Act , 1941 ( Bengal Act 6 of 1941 ) , as in force in the Union territory of Delhi , the Central Government hereby gives notice of its intention to make with effect from the first day of March ,1969 , the following further amendment in the Second Schedule to the said Act .
Any suggestions or objections which may be received from any person in res- pect of the following amendinent before the 25th February , 1969 , will be con- sidered by the Central Government .
Draft Amendment
In the said Schedule , after item No. 58 , the following item shall be added , namely: -
"59. Readymade khadi garments . " .
